🎉 Exciting News from Keiseikan Martial Arts!

We are thrilled to announce a remarkable achievement at Keiseikan Karate! Under the virtuous guidance of Sensei Teng, we have produced 4 new Sandan (三段) in Inoue-Ha Shito-Ryu Karate, making us the dojo with the highest number of Senior Black Belts in the Inoue-Ha Karate System in Singapore.

Our 4 Senpai (先輩) have not only received their Sandan certificates from Japan but have also been promoted to the esteemed title of “Sensei” (老师). This prestigious title comes with the responsibility of imparting the unique techniques of the Inoue-Ha Karate system, which has helped many world champions, like Rika Usami and Antonio Diaz, achieve greatness.

But that's not all! Here are some additional highlights:

We are proud to announce that our Chief Instructor, Sensei Teng, has been awarded the 7th Dan by Inoue-Ha Japan HQ, making him the first Inoue-Ha Karate 7th Dan in Singapore, along with a 4th Dan in Okinawa Kobudo Kenshin-Ryu.
Our 4 Senpai have also acquired Kobudo Dan from Okinawa Kenshin-Ryu, making them the only practitioners in Singapore to hold both Kobudo Dan and Karate 3rd Dan.
These Dual Dan achievers come from different age groups, showcasing their commitment, dedication, passion, and drive to elevate their skills to the next level. This achievement reflects the fairness of Keiseikan Martial Arts in assessing trainees and the dedication of our chief instructor to guide them to higher levels, regardless of age and background.
A special thank you to our Dojo Technical Advisor, Sensei Lee Boon Heng, a 7th Dan Inoue-Ha and a direct student of Hashimoto Sensei.
